Here we have SD40T-2 #8522. This loco started out as an un-numbered unit from ScaleTrains. Man, these locos are freakin' awesome! Soo many details! I didn't have to do anything to this unit except give it a custom number using Microscale decals, swap out the Micro Trains couplers for McHenry's and paint up the ugly brass contacts that show through behind the trucks. Weathering was done with chalks and paints. Loksound decoder is stock from the factory.
