Looking at the top of the helix on the left, the grade continues around to above the entrance to the layout room. I set up a train to see what this will look like when done.

The upper level above Bishop yard is pretty straight. This shot is looking toward the peninsula.
The curve in this pic is a nice large 24" radius.
