Here we have a Life Like GP20 lettered for the ATSF. Locophotos and RRfallenflags always have good photos and there were plenty to view of this type of loco. Since I model a later year than what this loco is numbered for, I changed the numbers on the cab and numberboards to reflect my modeling year. I have a soft spot for these old GP20's, and Life Like did a good job with them. here is the list of details added to this loco:
Changed front window to be 2 separate windows
Custom cab and numberboard decals using Microscale decals
Painted rear numberboards yellow
Swapped out the Life Like for Atlas trucks and wheels
Cut outside brakes off of all trucks (ATSF style)
Spray painted the trucks silver
BLMA MU hoses, air hoses, cut levers, rear view mirrors, antenna stand and cab sunshades
Custom made front light cover mounted on roof
NSN beacon
Relocated horn
Atlas AC unit and mounting base
McHenry couplers
TCS CN-GP decoder
Bearden bering block modification
Another smooth running loco added to the RR!
