Not much has been done to the railroad lately. I worked some more on the yard throat, and have been switching it to see how the yard lead and arrival/departure tracks are going to work. Xmas time at the Post Office (my employer) is quite busy, so I doubt much will get done untill after the new year.

Almost done with the yard throat! The autoracks are sitting on the main, while the hoppers are on the siding. The top of the yard ladder connects with A/D track #2.

Another view. This will be the normal view of the yardmaster.

Looking up the yard ladder.

Here we have a mixed freight sitting on A/D track #2, about to be broken down.

Switching the yard is going to be a fun "job"!
